Red Bull Sound Select Presents: 30 Days In LA 2015 Lineup Red Bull Sound Select Presents: 30 Days in LA returns to venues all across Los Angeles in November for the second annual installation of the month-long music festival. Grimes, whose follow-up to "Visions" is one of the most highly anticipated albums of the year, will kick off the live performances Nov. 2 at The Mayan (supported by Nicole Dollanganger), setting the stage for some of the most exciting artists of the year: Flume, who has been packing festival stages all summer, plays the Mayan Nov. 12; Big Sean, the rapper behind the huge hit "I Don't F--k With You," plays the Hollywood Palladium Nov. 22; Vince Staples, the Long Beach rapper responsible for one of the year's best albums, "Summertime '06," performs Nov. 24; and quickly rising, Drake-loving, LA-born rapper ilovemakonnen headlines Mack Sennett Studios Nov. 28. And that's just a taste. Also headlining the festival at some of LA's legendary venues will be TV on the Radio, Chromeo, FoalsJoey Bada$$, Toro y Moi, TinasheFlume, Sylvan Esso, Kiesza, BOOTS and more. Every concert will feature a headliner and one or more Red Bull Sound Select artist, including Jenkins, Loaf Muzik, G Herbo (f.k.a. Lil Herb), BASECAMP, Sam Dew, Gabriel Garzón-Montano, River Tiber, In the Whale, Son Little and Gallant, to name a few. "The first show I played after moving to LA was a Red Bull Sound Select event at the Troubadour," said Gallant recently. "The only music I had out was a self-released EP. Having their support at such an early stage in my development was essential to the evolution of my live show- a monumental moment that I'll remember for the rest of my life. I am excited to continue the tradition."

So who am I most excited to see among the above artists?!? There are so many to choose from but since I love the number 7 I'm going to give you my seven shows I'm most excited to see! below in order of when they will happen. November 4 Joey Bada$$ and Warm Brew: I listened to Joey Bada$$ while a bit high on the subway in NYC with my close friend from college who I hadn't seen in 5 years. We are talking about hip-hop and he tells me their is a rebirth in hip-hop and after we discuss our admiration for Run The Jewels he plays me a few Joey Bada$$ tracks and wow this young fella has flow! Not only is he headlining but local hip-hop group Warm Brew will bring a party to start things off too. Listen to my favorite bonus track I've ever heard in hip-hop.
November 6 Chromeo: I love Chromeo so much, they were one of my favorite bands I saw at Coachella 2014 and I absolutely love their electro funk vibes that get you dancing and singing along to their tunes. Their last album was super poppy which means it was catchy and super dance-able like their previous work. This show is a day after my birthday so I can't wait to celebrate with some funky fresh tunes from Chromeo. Here's an old track from the duo that I love.
November 9 Toro Y Moi: I've seen Toro Y Moi only perform once before at Pacific Festival 2011 and since then I became a huge fan. I've followed them for awhile and can't wait to see them perform their chillwave again as they create such a relaxing electronic vibe that is lots of fun to be a part of. I'm always going to love this cover Toro Y Moi did.
November 10 Keisza I love what Keisza brings to the table with a dance pop vibe that is super sexy. You play "Hideaway" and everybody is in the mood for sex! It's super get down dance music and I can't wait to hear what else she has besides her hit track "Hideaway." Until then, get in the mood with this.
November 12 Flume Flume is the baller beat-maker we wish we could all be. His original beats and instrumentals just flow so nicely and feel so good. This Australian sensation of dance music is a force to be reckoned with and I can't wait get down dancing to his vibes.
November 16 School Night: Boy & Bear, Boom Forest, Kevin Garrett: I love Boy & Bear's song "Southern Sun". They remind me of the Australian The War On Drugs but more western Americana vibes. That song just settles me into the right place is so relaxing and is a quintessential road trip song. This is a FREE show so be sure to RSVP to attend. November 28 ilovemackonnen, Basecamp, Jazz Cartier I actually like the openers Basecamp and Jazz Cartier more than I know the dude that Drake loves so this should be a great show if all three acts are awesome. I've followed Jazz for a long time with his Toronto hip-hop and he's been on the grind for a long time. Basecamp has this futuristic electro R&B and you wouldn't guess they are from Country land Nashville, Tennessee making this type of sultry sexy music. I'll give you my favorite from the openers below.
