Hidden Gem - Gramatik *Electro Hip-hop Funk Soul DJ

Short link https://tfn.tw/95j/
Let me start off by saying that Gramatik is one of the most underrated electro DJs in the game. His music is a mix of electro, hip-hop, funk, jazz, soul, and basically anything to get your body rocking. In a nutshell, Gramatik's style is hip-hop oriented electro, and let me tell you, he brings the party. This dude is a serious force. Read more after the jump: Gramatik was recently signed by Pretty Lights' label, which will surely mean big things for him. It seems like Pretty Lights is becoming the Rick Ross of electro DJs, signing everyone he likes, and collaborating to help everyone do bigger and better things. Plus his label is dropping free music like it's nobody's business. Gramatik is set to release his newest album Beatz & Pieces Vol 1 on July 12th, and to give everyone a taste of things to come, he dropped a single, "So Much for Love," a serious banger. I dare you not to enjoy it. As the opener, I thought he would play an abbreviated set, but Gramatik played for over an hour and a half, and the crowd was rockin the whole time. While I'm less familiar with individual tracks, Gramatik's set went from fat hip-hop beats, to a little dub, to some straight up electro a la Pretty Lights. Gramatik is not confined to a single genre, but more so to a single message, bringing the party when he plays live. Gramatik never gets too intense with whomps and other craziness like that. He just keeps the beats rolling and the crowd dancing. All in all, it was a great show. He closed with "So Much for Love" and the crowd went nuts. While you're at it, follow him on Twitter, because Gramatik is someone you'll surely be hearing a lot from in the near future. See this dude live if you have the chance.
